What is included in my admission price? 
Your Adventureland Resort admission price includes all rides, attractions and many of the shows at Adventureland. It also includes admission to Adventure Bay water park during its months of operation. Click Here to view the calendar of operating hours for Adventureland Resort and Adventure Bay! 
PLEASE NOTE: Capacity limits will be observed in Adventure Bay during peak times.


I lost my Season Pass. Can I get it replaced?
Yes! If you’ve lost your Season Pass, we kindly ask that you immediately report your lost or stolen card by calling (515) 266-2121 ext. 3350 during the park season. Any Season Pass reported as lost or stolen to Adventureland's admissions department will immediately be canceled for the remainder of the season.

What does Rainy Day Guarantee mean?
Don't let a cloudy day keep you away! Adventureland is pleased to provide a second chance for a day of unforgettable fun in the sun. If the park closes due to weather, stop by Guest Services as you exit and present your ticket stub or online order confirmation. Weather Guarantee tickets will only be issued the same day as your weather affected visit and can not be claimed during a return visit. You will be issued a single day admission ticket valid for any day during the remainder of the season. You must have your ticket stub or online order confirmation to receive a Weather Guarantee ticket. 

Are special event deals or seasonal promotions available?
Yes! Adventureland regularly offers special event deals and seasonal promotions throughout the year. Sign up for our newsletter, follow us on social media, or check the website to stay up to date on the latest offers and exclusive discounts.

What are ticket prices like? How do I get the best deal on Tickets?
Ticket prices vary by date and type of admission. Adventureland offers single-day tickets, group rates, and season passes, each with great perks and discounts. Prices are always best when purchased online in advance.Be the first to know about special deals and offers by subscribing to our Newsletter.

Can I use a Platinum Pass from other Palace Entertainment Parks at Adventureland?
Yes! Platinum Passes from other Palace Entertainment Parks (Kennywood, Noah’s Ark) are valid for parking and general admission at Adventureland Resort. Keep in mind that the pass must be used at the park it was purchased at before it can be used at Adventureland. Platinum Passes from other parks do not include any of the Adventureland Platinum Pass exclusive benefits. To receive exclusive Platinum Pass perks for Adventureland Park, be sure to buy an Adventureland Platinum Pass!

 

What is the weather policy for ride availability?

Adventureland strives to operate all rides and attractions during park hours. Inclement weather may cause rides to close temporarily until conditions improve.

Adventure Bay attractions, roller coasters, water rides and all rides that rise above ground level will close when lightning is detected within 10 miles of the park.
All outdoor rides and attractions will close when lightning is detected within 5 miles of the park.
Certain rides like Phoenix, Sidewinder and the Tilt-a-Whirl may close during light rain. Many other rides will close during heavy rain.

The following rides will close when temperatures are low and high wind conditions exist:
        -Dragon Slayer, Flying Viking, Giant Sky Wheel, Monster, Outlaw, Phoenix, Rockin’ Rainbow, Space Shot, Storm Chaser, Tornado


Where can I store my items while on a ride? 

Loose items are not permitted on rides and should always be left with a non-rider or in your car. Select rides offer designated areas to leave your belongings while you are on the ride. Please be aware that Adventureland assumes no responsibility for lost or stolen items.


Do you have a lost and found? 

All lost items found at Adventureland are stored at Guest Services, so please go directly there if you’ve lost something. Guest Services is located on the east side of Main Street. Items will only be stored at Lost and Found for one week, and perishable or wet items are discarded at the end of each day. 

Please call Guest Services during park opening hours at (515) 266-2121 ext. 3350 to check if your lost items are there.


Can I bring my own stroller to Adventureland? 

Of course! Strollers and wagons are both allowed at Adventureland Resort. Strollers are also available for rent at the Old Firestation, located on Main Street, just past the park entrance.


Can I leave and come back the same day at no charge? 

Yes! Just be sure to get your hand stamped before you leave at the main gate. As for parking, be sure to keep your parking ticket receipt that you received upon arrival and show it to the parking lot attendant when you return. Your parking lot ticket/receipt is valid for one day only.


Where should I go for First Aid? 

Ask any uniformed staff member or lifeguard to help call First Aid Assistance to your location. The park’s primary First Aid Location is to the east of the A-Train station, near the front of the park. There is another First Aid station in Adventure Bay near Breaker Beach Wave Pool. 


Are there events like fireworks, drone shows, or concerts?

Yes! Adventureland hosts events that keep the fun going all season. Enjoy spectacular summer entertainment, like drone shows, fireworks, and more. Raise a toast at Oktoberfest and wrap up the season with the thrills and chills of Phantom Fall Fest.

Can I bring my own food or water bottles?

Adventureland allows only unopened bottled water and bottled sports hydration drinks into the park. Hard coolers are not permitted. All other beverages, including soda/pop and energy drinks, are not allowed inside Adventureland Park.

Empty refillable water bottles may be brought into the park and filled at bottle-filling stations located at the Chicken Shack, Dragon Island Bridge, Bernie's Barnyard, Outlaw Gulch, and Adventure Bay.

Are lockers available for rent?

Yes! Lockers are available for rent in Adventure Bay. All lockers are electronic, and you’ll have 3 different sizes to choose from. Lockers costs between $10 and $23 plus tax per day depending on the day of the week and the size of the locker. No security deposit is required, and locker rentals are available on a single day basis only!


Are service animals allowed in Adventure Bay?

Yes, they are allowed! However, animals are not allowed to enter the water or any water attractions. Please leave animals with another friend or family member while you enjoy all the water attractions of Adventure Bay.

Are there seating areas and showers in the water park?

Yes! Showers and lounge chairs are both available in Adventure Bay water park.


Do I need a swimsuit to use Adventure Bay?

Yes! Please remember your bathing suit as it is required for anyone who will be enjoying the water park attractions of Adventure Bay.
 

Please keep in mind that for your safety, bathing suits with metal rivets, zippers or snaps are NOT permitted, nor are thong style swimwear styles. Any denim materials are not allowed in the water or on slides. Street clothing is only allowed in the lounge area, food stand, or retail area. 



Does the campground have laundry facilities I can use? 

Yes! You will find four different laundry facilities around the campground. It costs $1.25 per wash cycle and $1.00 to dry. Laundry soap and dryer sheets are available for purchase at the hub.


Can we swim in the pond at the campground? 

Swimming at the campground is ONLY allowed at the outdoor swimming pool located behind the hub.

It is strictly prohibited to swim in the pond or to allow pets in the pond.


Are fires allowed at the campground?
 

Fires are only allowed in designated fire pit areas. Ground fires are prohibited. Firepits may be rented at the campground office for a fee of $10/night and you can purchase firewood for $7/bundle at the campground office.


How can I book a campsite?

You can either give us a call at (515) 265-7321 for reservations or visit our website to book. You can see the reservation link under “Stay with Us” and “Campground”.


Are pets allowed in the campground?

Pets are allowed in the campground. All pets must be supervised and leashed at all times aside from our designated pet run areas.


Do you have long-term rates available?

Yes! We do offer extended stay rates for those staying 30+ days. A month's deposit is required at check-in. Payment plans are available for those staying for multiple months.


Can you walk to the amusement park from the campground?

Yes! There is a bridge on the west side of the campground that takes you directly to the front gate of the park.


When is the campground open for the season?

Our campground is open to the public from the month of May through the end of October.


Are the sites full hookup?

Yes! All of our campsites feature water, electricity, and sewer at each site.


Is there electricity provided for tent sites?

No. All of our tent sites are non-electric.


Is there a military or veterans discount for campground reservations?

Yes! We do offer a 10% discount to those active or retired from the military. To make a reservation please call reservations at (515) 265-7321 in order to receive the discount. Discount cannot be combined with any other offer.

Can I bring my own firepit to the Campground?

Yes! We do allow fire pits to be brought into the Campground. Fire pits must sit above the ground. In ground fire pits are not allowed.


Are there fire pits available at the Campground?

Yes! There are fire pits available for daily rent at the campground.


Can I have visitors at the Campground?

Yes! Visitors are allowed as long as they stop by the Campground office for a visitors pass. For a visitor pass after hours please stop by the hotel front desk. 


Can I pay cash for a campground reservation?

No. Adventureland Resort is a cashless property. We do offer cash to card stations that you may utilize to purchase a card with cash for payment. Please note campground policy states that you need a valid credit or debit card in order to check in.


How can I use my season pass discount?

Please contact reservations at (515) 265-7321 in order to apply the discount from your season pass. Season pass discounts are available until the end of any given season. Please note: Season pass discount cannot be combined with any other offer.


Is there public Wi-Fi available at the Campground?

We unfortunately do not have public Wi-Fi for guest use in the Campground.


Is there early check in / late check out available?

Yes! We do offer early or late check in. Earliest check in available is 9:00AM. Latest check out available is 3:00PM. Subject to fees and availability. Please contact the campground office or reservations prior to arrival for more information or to check availability.


Is there a pool at the Campground?

Yes! We do offer an outdoor pool for our guests to utilize. Up to six swim passes come with each campsite. Additional swim bands can be purchased in the campground office for $10.00 per person.


Are tents allowed at the campsites?

No. Tents are only permitted in the designated tenting areas. For a tent reservation please give us a call at (515) 265-7321.


Are there laundry and shower facilities available?

Yes! We have multiple laundry and shower facilities available throughout the campground.


Are there group rates available in the Campground?

Groups rates are offered for anyone booking 10 or more campsites. Please email us at info@adventurelandpark.com for availability and pricing.
